SAR 1,650/month
πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¦ Saudi Arabia
🏒 SASCO (Saudi Automotive Services Co.)
🀝 Recruitment by a Verified Licensed Partner
Station Supervisor (Petrol Station) – SASCO (Saudi Automotive Services Co.) Saudi Arabia

About the job

SASCO is hiring 35 Station Supervisors for its petrol stations in Saudi Arabia. Work: supervising fuel filling, managing staff salary records and Excel data entry. Salary: SAR 1,650 basic plus 2 hours of paid overtime a day. Duty: 10 hours a day, no weekly off day as per the employer's circular. Contract: 2 years. Visa profession: Gas Station Attendant (code 524501). Requirements: age 25 to 40, good English, computer and Excel skills.

Benefits

  • 2 hours overtime per day, paid on top of the basic salary

What a SASCO station supervisor actually does

SASCO runs a large network of petrol stations across Saudi Arabia, and every station needs one person who keeps the shift running. That is the Station Supervisor. According to the employer's circular, this role combines three kinds of work:

  • Fuel filling and forecourt work – the supervisor still works on the forecourt during busy hours, filling fuel and making sure every customer is served quickly and safely.
  • Staff salary records – keeping attendance and salary details of the station team correct, so that every worker is paid the right amount on time.
  • Excel data entry – daily sales, fuel stock, shift reports and staff records are entered into Excel sheets and shared with the area office.

In simple words, SASCO wants a hands-on person who is comfortable both at the pump and on the computer. That is why the circular asks for good English, computer skills and Excel knowledge, which is not common in petrol station jobs. If you have both forecourt experience and basic office skills, this vacancy is a strong match for you.

Salary, overtime and duty hours explained

The circular offers SAR 1,650 basic salary per month plus 2 hours of overtime every day. Duty is 10 hours a day, and the circular says there is no weekly off day. The contract is for 2 years.

How overtime is paid in Saudi Arabia: Saudi law firms summarising Article 107 of the Saudi Labour Law explain that overtime is paid at the hourly wage plus 50% of the basic hourly wage, and that work on a weekly rest day is compensated either with a substitute day off or with the day's wage plus 50% of the basic wage (Etqan Law Firm – Article 107). Before you sign, ask the employer two clear questions:

  1. How is the daily 2-hour overtime calculated and shown on the payslip?
  2. How is the weekly rest day handled – a substitute day off, or extra pay?

Get the answers written in your contract. A clear contract protects you and avoids disputes later.

To see what SAR 1,650 means in rupees, use our free currency converter, and compare it with other Gulf jobs using the salary check tool. For reference, SASCO is also hiring Petrol / Fuel Fillers at SAR 1,000 basic plus SAR 250 for 2 hours of overtime, so the supervisor role pays clearly more because of the added responsibility.

Visa profession: Gas Station Attendant (524501)

The circular says the work visa is a skill visa under the profession Gas Station Attendant, code 524501, even though your job at the station will be Station Supervisor. This is common in the Gulf: the visa profession is the official category the employer is allowed to hire under, while your internal job title can be different.

What this means for you:

  • Your Iqama (residence permit) will most likely show the visa profession, not "Station Supervisor". Keep your offer letter and contract that show the supervisor role and salary.
  • Saudi Arabia checks the skills of foreign workers for many professions through its Professional Verification programme, and the service now covers workers from 160 countries (Gulf News). Ask the employer whether a verification test is needed for this visa profession, and prepare for it if it is.
  • Your employment contract in Saudi Arabia is documented on the government's Qiwa platform (Qiwa). After you arrive, check that the salary and contract period on Qiwa match what you were promised.

Who should apply

The circular sets these requirements:

  • Age: 25 to 40 years
  • English: good spoken and written English
  • Computer: comfortable with a computer and Excel (data entry, simple formulas, sheets)
  • Work: ready for fuel filling, staff salary handling and Excel entry
  • Duty: 10 hours a day, no weekly off day, 2-year contract

You are a strong candidate if you have worked as a petrol pump supervisor, shift in-charge, cashier-supervisor at a fuel station, or a store or warehouse supervisor who handled staff attendance and Excel reports. Experience at a petrol pump in India counts. Gulf experience is a bonus but the circular does not make it compulsory.

How to write your CV for this job

SASCO will shortlist from CVs, so your CV must show the three skills from the circular on the first page. Use a clear title line such as:

Petrol Station Supervisor – Forecourt, Staff Records & Excel – 6 years

Then add bullet points with numbers, for example:

  • Supervised a team of 8 fuel attendants per shift at a high-traffic highway petrol station.
  • Maintained daily attendance and salary sheets for 15 staff in Excel and sent them to the head office every month.
  • Entered daily fuel sales, tank dip readings and cash collection in Excel and matched them with the pump meters.
  • Handled fuel filling during peak hours and kept the forecourt safe and clean.
  • Trained new attendants on safe refuelling, customer service and cash handling.

Write "Excel" by name and mention what you did in it (data entry, attendance, salary sheet, sales report). Many CVs just write "computer knowledge", which tells the employer nothing. Also add your passport details (number, issue and expiry dates), date of birth (age must be 25–40) and your English level.

You can build this CV in a few minutes with Resume Arab's Gulf CV builder. It has fields for passport, ECR status and Gulf experience, and you can fill it by speaking in Hindi or English.

Preparing for the selection

Shortlisted candidates are called for an online interview. Prepare for questions like:

  • How do you manage a shift when two attendants are absent?
  • How do you prepare a salary sheet in Excel? Which formulas do you use?
  • What do you check before closing the daily fuel and cash report?
  • How do you handle an angry customer at the pump?
  • What safety rules do you follow at a fuel station?

Practise short, clear answers with our free interview questions tool. Keep a simple Excel file ready on your phone or laptop – some interviewers ask you to share your screen and show a basic sheet.

Documents you will need for a Saudi work visa

Once you are selected, the usual documents are a passport valid for at least six months, passport photos, educational certificates, experience letters, a police clearance certificate and a medical test at an approved centre. Our Saudi work visa documents guide explains each one. If your Indian passport is ECR, emigration clearance on eMigrate is needed before you fly (MEA – Emigration Clearance System), and only a registered agent can process it – see our ECR and eMigrate guide.

Never pay anyone who promises a "guaranteed" selection. Apply only through the form on this page.
