About the job

A furniture and carpet company in Oman is hiring 4 Retail Sales Executives for its showrooms. Salary OMR 123 per month during the 3-month probation, plus 1% sales commission after probation, with a food allowance, accommodation and visa. A degree and good English are required; Arabic is preferred.

The role

Greet customers in the showroom, understand their needs and recommend furniture and carpets.
Explain materials, sizes, delivery and installation options, and prepare quotations.
Close sales, follow up on leads by phone and WhatsApp, and keep customer records in MS Office.
Keep the display area neat and help with stock checks.

Salary and commission

OMR 123 per month during the 3-month probation.
After probation: 1% commission on sales on top of salary.
Food allowance of about OMR 12 per month; accommodation and visa provided.

Working conditions

10-hour duty per day; overtime paid if extended. Friday off.
Joining ticket is not provided; a leave ticket is given every 2 years.
Strict company policy: non-smokers and non-drinkers only.
GAMCA medical required.

Who should apply

A degree (any discipline).
Good spoken English; Arabic is preferred and is a real advantage on the shop floor.
Comfortable with MS Office (Excel, Word) for quotations and reports.
Retail, showroom or furniture sales experience is a plus.
