QC Inspector

The role

• Inspect incoming parts, in-process assemblies and finished split and window AC units against drawings and specifications.
• Check dimensions with vernier, micrometer and gauges; verify brazed joints, leak-test results and electrical safety tests.
• Record results in inspection reports and checklists, tag non-conforming parts and follow up on corrective action with production.
• Support audits and keep calibration records of measuring instruments up to date.

Who should apply

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 4 years of QC or quality inspection experience in a manufacturing plant; HVAC, appliance or sheet-metal products are a strong plus.
• Able to read engineering drawings and use basic measuring instruments.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation and good written English for reports.
